Prince of Peace Lutheran Church has been founded in the late 1950 by concerned Chinese people in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with Chinese people in Vancouver. We would like to continue our service to Chinese people, be they English speakers or Chinese speakers, everyone still has the need to know God and to build a relationship with Him and with his neighbours. We would like to provide a community of acceptance and of love and welcome all our neighbours into mutually enabling relationships. You are welcome in our midst.
路德會和平君已成立於1950年,要和溫哥華中國人分享耶穌基督的福音。我們希望可以繼續為中國人服務，不論是英語或中文發言，大家仍然需要和上帝建立關係，也需要和鄰建立關係。我們希望可以提供愛的接受和歡迎我們所有鄰居互相扶持。歡迎您來到我們中間。

Announcements
  • There is Mandarin Group gathering at 10:30AM on Wednesday, May 16th. Everyone is welcome.
    本週三（五月十六日）上午十時卅分有國語小組聚會，歡迎參加。
  • There is S-Club Fellowship this Saturday (May 19) from 1:30PM to 3:00PM; all grade 7-12 students are welcome.
    本星期六(五月十九日)下午一時半至三時有學生團契，歡迎七至十二年級學 生參加。
  • There is Holy Communion next Sunday. After service, there is potluck lunch. Everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share.
    下星期為聖餐主日，崇拜後有敍餐。歡迎教友帶備拿手好菜與大家分享。
  • There is a Council meeting after potluck next week, all council members please stay.
    下星期敍餐後有執事會，請執事留步。
  • Transforming 4 Mission consultation will be held on June 1,2012, from 7:00PM to 8:30PM. All church members, youths and old members along with newer members, are invited (about 15 to 25 persons). Opinions for the church are welcome. The interviewers will share their opinions with us. Those who are interested please contact Mr. Chu. (Pastor and other leaders will not attend this meeting.)
    本堂「改造使命」咨詢會（T4M）將於六月一日星期五晚上七時至八時三十分在教會舉行。我們邀請本堂無論新、舊、老、少教友（十五至二十五人）擁躍出席，並提出改造意見。（牧師、長老、執事等另擇會期，不會出席是次會議。）區會代表將蒞臨與會，分享經驗。有意出席的教友，請與朱生聯絡。
  • There will be a Chinese Opera Gospel Choir practice next Sunday, May 20 at 10:00AM in Room C., all members please attend.
    和平之君堂福音粵曲團於5月20日(主日)早上10時在C課室進行練習, 請各團員準時出席。
  • Pastor Mark will go out for a meeting from May 18 to 21, next Sunday service Stan will act for him.
    牧師於五月十八至二十一日外出開會。下週由Stan代理牧師事宜。
  • A prayer vigil is being planned at our church during May 26th through to May 27th. Members of our church are invited to sign up on the slot(s) of the signup sheets posted at the back of our church. Please sign up.
    本堂從五月廿六日起有為期兩天的接力禱告(Prayer Vigil)，每半小時一輪。有感動的弟兄姊妹，請踴躍報名參加。祈禱內容及輪值表已貼在教堂後佈告欄上。

  • Please pray for the development of the church, and ask God to give us the openness of the mind and the ability to serve.

  • Please pray for the spiritual and physical health of others.
    請為肢體們的靈性及身體健康祈禱。
  • Please pray for the improvement of the national economy so that there are better employment opportunities.

  • Please pray for those brothers and sisters who are traveling, working, and/or studying that they will be kept safe and will be given a peace of mind.

  • Please pray for the openness of mind and the ability of the ministry for the T4M meeting held in June.
